#SongoftheDay Baby Come Back (The Equals)

I've missed you. Boy, have I missed you!

As I mentioned before taking my leave a few weeks ago, my partner and I have been extremely ill. We're still not over it, but we're better than we were.

Throughout most of this illness, we could not do anything. I spent countless days doing nothing but sleeping, waking up in a coughing fit, staring out the window, and then falling back asleep. We were so sick that, for a solid two weeks, we only left the house to go to doctors' appointments and get medicine. And when we got back from our appointments, we immediately crashed.

What was wrong with us? I was sure we had pneumonia, but the X-rays say X. So some sort of severe chest infection. I truly thought that one or both of us would be admitted to hospital--that's how serious it was. But we took care of one another. I picked up his prescriptions, he picked up mine.

All the while, I missed you. I missed sharing music and memories with you. I missed being able to sing! I usually sing constantly, to self-soothe, but I was too sick to hold a note. That made me really sad. Today I realized I could sing a little children's song to my partner and it made me ridiculously happy.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and anecdotes, the easiest thing you can do is buy my books (most are for adults only!) or check them out from your local library.

Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely.

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

I also recommend subscribing to my newsletter. I generally e-mail subscribers with a weekly update, and I would LOVE to have you on the list.
