#SongoftheDay Ooh Child (The Five Stairsteps)

Thanksgiving was last weekend, here in Canada. I happened to call my mother's house on Sunday afternoon and it happened that she was hosting all my siblings for a holiday meal. My family was observing Thanksgiving without me. They didn't invite me or even tell me about it beforehand. I don't think they ever would have if I hadn't caught them in the act.

This summer, my mother let it slip that she'd invited all my siblings over to celebrate a belated Christmas. They didn't invite me, and they clearly weren't going to tell me about it after the fact. I only found out because my mother tripped over her own lies.

My partner tried to console me by saying that my family obviously thinks of him as my new family, which is a nice thought... but there's got to be more to it. I just don't understand. Why is my family cutting me out of all their holiday gatherings? What did I do to deserve this?

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
Giselle
