#SongoftheDay Who Can It Be Now? (Men at Work)

When I went to bed last night, I was really looking forward to waking up this morning and getting to work on the book I'm writing. Yesterday, I outlined two and a half chapters--thorough outlines, so all I'd have to do today is flesh out the scenes. I couldn't wait to get started.

And then I woke up with yet another migraine. That's every day this week. Today's was so bad, with so much pressure in one of my eyes, that I couldn't even look at my computer screen.

I really want to work. Not for Capitalist reasons. I wasn't looking forward to making the big bucks. Let's be real: nothing I write earns me a ton of money. I guess what I should say is that I was looking forward to creating something.

But that didn't happen, because my body is a trash pile. I look in the mirror, and the person looking back at me is old and sick. I still expect someone different.

You'd think I'd be used to this new reflection, this new me, but I'm still expecting to see someone else. Someone healthy. Not to mention young.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and anecdotes, the easiest thing you can do is buy my books (most are for adults only!) or check them out from your local library.

Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely.

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

I also recommend subscribing to my newsletter. I generally e-mail subscribers with a weekly update, and I would LOVE to have you on the list.
