#SongoftheDay Talkin' Softball (Terry Cashman)

This parody song from The Simpsons popped into my head today while I was cutting my partner's hair.

The lighting isn't great in here (despite there being probably a thousand lightbulbs in the living room/dining room/kitchen area), so I wasn't sure if I was clipping off too much sideburns. If you're an Old School Simpsons fan, you know why that made me think of this old softball episode. I don't have whatever season it's from on DVD (I think I have seasons 5, 6, 7, 8?), so I probably haven't seen this episode in 20 years... but I remember it well.

And, of course, this song brings to mind a joke from Frasier, because I obviously still live in the 90s (remember when 10-11pm was the Seinfeld/Frasier hour on Fox29?), and it's this: Frasier asks his dad to name a baseball player and Martin says, "Okay... Darryl Strawberry," and Frasier snaps, "No, a real one!"

Haha.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
Giselle
