#SongoftheDay Somewhere Out There (Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram)

If you remember the 80s as clearly as I do, you'll recall that this gem comes from the animated feature An American Tail.  I remember it like it was yesterday: seeing this movie at the Cedarbrae Cinemas, and then stopping in at Beaver Lumber to pick up nails or drywall or both, maybe.  I always loved shopping at Beaver Lumber because they stocked their lumber indoors, so the whole store smelled like wood.

I have a soft spot for this song, too, because I was in a longterm relationship that was long-distance. Whenever I missed my girlfriend, she'd say we're just like the two little mice looking up at the moon.

And, since we're talking about night skies, I'll be sure to mention that Mars is very visible right now.  If you haven't already, I would recommend looking up when it's dark out.  Go outside first, or you'll just be looking at your ceiling. My partner and I have gone out every night this week to look for Mars. There's only one night we've missed it, due to cloud cover. It's the biggest thing in the sky, and it glows a shade of orange.

Happy reminiscing, happy stargazing, and happy days ahead!

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
Giselle
