#SongoftheDay The Unicorn (The Irish Rovers)
Remember yesterday, how I mentioned I had the colours part of "Sing a Rainbow" stuck in my head, but I had no idea what the song was called until I looked it up?
The exact same thing just happened to me with this song.
My partner and I have been working on jigsaw puzzles together, and the one that's currently on the go has lions and elephants and flamingoes and all sorts of creatures on it (even a dik-dik, if I'm not mistaken).
Naturally, this song popped into my head. Except the only part of the song I knew was the "green alligators and long necked geese, 'hoompty'-back camels and chimpanzees..." part. Until I looked it up, I had no idea the song was about unicorns! Well, I probably knew. But I probably haven't heard that song in over thirty years, and my memory is not the best.
Actually, this song is kinda sad. Reminds me of the movie The Last Unicorn. Remember that? I loved that movie, when I was a kid. Oh, and... what was that other movie I loved? The Secret of Nimh! I don't remember anything about that one except that it scared me and I like being scared. Whew. The 80s.
If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.
Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!
I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.
But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.
Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!
See you tomorrow!
