#SongoftheDay Hope (Arlo Parks)

I met my best friend when we were in high school. After 25 years of friendship, I pretty much know what to expect from her.  I know that she'll retreat when she needs help the most.  She lives with a lot of serious illnesses and spends a lot of time in the hospital.

I've come to understand that, if she's sick, I won't hear from her. I'll ask how she's doing, but she won't answer until she's home again. I worry about her a lot, because she's often so ill doctors don't think she'll make it.  She is one of the most determined people I know. Just staying alive is a major challenge for her, but she does it.

It's been twenty years since we've lived in the same city, so we don't get to spend much time together. I miss hanging out, like we did in high school. We used to bake cookies together.  She's an amazing baker.  She's good at everything she tries, but not in a way that makes you jealous. At least, I don't get jealous. Maybe other people do--I don't know.  Uber-talented geniuses can have trouble with friendships, but it helps that my best friend is confident yet humble.  She's a very approachable person.

She's having a hard time right now, so she's on my mind.  And now she's on your mind, too, because I've shared her with you.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
Giselle
