#SongoftheDay Band of Gold (Freda Payne)

I've heard this song many times, but I never actually listened to the words until today. It was suggested to me when I grabbed yesterday's song of the day from YouTube.

It reminds me of a conversation I had in bed with my partner the other day. We were talking about how much it sucks that we can't hold on to the excitement we shared before we lived together. I am still incredibly attracted to him and I wouldn't want anyone else if they were offered to me on a silver platter, but things are different--less intense--now that we're cohabitating.

He pointed out that it's exacerbated by covid AND by the fact that neither of us works outside of the home. "It's not like we come back to each other at the end of the day. We're always together."

I actually like spending that much time together. We're still very kissy and huggy and grabby with each other (and we have LOTS of sex), but the yearning is gone. It's hard to yearn for the person who's lying next to you in bed, unless he's in some way unavailable. That would be a worse problem to have than lack of yearning.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
