#SongoftheDay With One Look from Sunset Boulevard (Diahann Carroll)

Earlier today, I was thinking about Diahann Carroll's extraordinary performance in Sunset Boulevard.  I had no idea, until I went to pull up this song, that she died last year.  She took on the timeless role of Norma Desmond here in Toronto in the 90s.  Looking back, I can't believe how lucky I was to see her.

My family couldn't afford things like theatre tickets, but a woman from the church I'd gone to as a child took an interest in me and brought me along to every performance she attended. All these years later, I think about her kindness all the time. It's well past time to track her down and thank her for the positive influence she's had on my life.  If I wait too long, I'll never get the chance.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
