#SongoftheDay Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca (Karim Kamar)

This piece came up in conversation recently--for two reasons.

Reason One:

My partner was telling me that his family went to three different church services every Sunday, when he was a kid. When they got home, he was allowed to pick out one record to play.  All the records were classical, and Rondo Alla Turca was one of his favourites.

Reason Two:

My youngest sister was reminiscing about our grandmother always taking us to Dairy Queen after school concerts and piano recitals. This was a BIG DEAL in our family, because Dairy Queen was VERY EXPENSIVE. It's ice cream for royalty! Anyway, Rondo Alla Turca was a Conservatory piece we all learned.

If you think it's weird that my siblings and I all took piano lessons while we couldn't afford Dairy Queen, yeah, I thought that was weird too. Turns out my mom was trying to show up one of her sisters by getting us kids trained in pianoing. Makes perfect sense.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
