#SongoftheDay Come To My Window (Melissa Etheridge)

I'm sitting on my bed as I write this post. My window is open, and I can hear my neighbour's deep voice. He's sitting on his balcony, which is right next to my window. Still, I can't hear exactly what he's saying.  He's talking to his wife.

I love the couple next door. I've lived beside them for sixteen years, and every time I walk by their apartment, I hear them talking. They seem to spend every hour of the day together. I've seen them on the subway, I've seen them in the supermarket, I've seen them at the park. I know nothing about them--don't even know their names--but they seem to work. We share a wall, and I've never heard them arguing.

My partner likes to remind me that the absence of arguments doesn't make for a good relationship, but I grew up in a whirlwind of anger and violence, so the peace between that pair appeals to me greatly.

Anyway, yesterday we listened to Shawnee, who cites Melissa Etheridge as one of her major influences. So Today we listen to Melissa Etheridge.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
Giselle
