#SongoftheDay Falling In Love (Gloria Estefan)

One of my sisters is a decade younger than I am, so I remember all the big events of her baby days. I specifically remember that this song was on the radio a lot when she was little, and she got excited whenever it came on.

Unsurprisingly, perhaps, my baby sister's first word was: Uh-oh!

The word was applicable, and used by her, in a wide variety of circumstances.

I wonder if anyone has ever told my sister the story of her first word. It's funny how, if you have siblings, you just assume they remember everything you remember--and that they remember it exactly the way you do.

Who remembers saying their first word? No one. You only know about it because someone recited the story of your life back to you.  There are so many life events we've talked about, in my family, that my baby sister was surprised (shocked, scandalized) to learn. Even if she was around, she was too young to remember some of the most significant shit that went down. She's the lucky one, there.

But the story of my sister's first word is pretty cute, and it's music-related, so I should probably check to see if she's heard it. I'm always intimidated to reach out to this particular sister, because she seems to be living a cool young-person life and I don't want to be the dowdy wet blanket sibling weighing her down.

Though, my partner was quick to point out to me that "she isn't THAT young..." and if she isn't young at my age minus ten, what does that make me? heh.

If you're wondering how you can support me in bringing you songs and visits every day, the easiest thing you can do is tell your friends about the site. Tell anyone you know--particularly people who are isolated and enjoy music.

Readers of adult fiction can also buy my books or check them out from your local library. Supporting my AudioErotica endeavour on Patreon would also help me hugely!

I'm also an Amazon Influencer, so hopefully I can make a little pocket change when you buy stuff by clicking through my affiliate links.

But you don't HAVE to do any of that. I'm very happy to get a daily visit from you, so just keep coming back.

Oh, and I also recommend hitting the "Subscribe" button at the top of the page so you won't miss a song!

See you tomorrow!
